    • You can now save or discard partial routines.

Is the Force Board App Free?

The Force Board App is Free!

You get access to all your workout history, pro routines, custom routines, and so much more. You can find more details in the product page under the technical details drop down.

The app also has a premium version where you get access to more analytics that cannot be found elsewhere, plus you can set training goals within the app.

What does the Force Board measure for each rep?

  • RFD (Rate of Force Development)
  • Max force
  • Average force
  • Time
  • Load*Sec (routine volume metric)

Is Force Board just for climbers?

No. While Force Board is targeted at the climbing market, it is flexible enough to work for a wide variety of isometric workout regimens.

How do I pair to Bluetooth?

  • Bluetooth pairing happens exclusively in the Force Board App.
  • Whenever you begin a workout the Force Board App will open a pairing screen. Simply turn on the device, and it should automatically connect.
  • If you are having issues connecting: First, check that your Bluetooth is on in your phone and that you have enabled Bluetooth permissions in the app.

Quick Start is a fast and easy way to get started in the Force Board App.

  • Record RFD, Max, Average, & Time
  • Save any Quick Start Routine
  • Set Target Loads
  • % of Target Load (Max Value/Target Load)
  • The Rep Timer starts counting up when you pull on the Force Board, and after your rep is complete the Rest Timer starts counting up.
