We are committed to helping protect the outdoor environments that make climbing great. We’ve joined 1% for the Planet to exemplify that commitment. We plant a tree for every pair of EyeSend glasses sold as well as support climber access initiatives.

1% For The Planet 

As 1% For The Planet members, we donate 1% of our annual revenue to the grassroots environmental nonprofits.

One Tree Planted

We've partnered with One Tree Planted to plant one tree for every pair of belay glasses sold.

Reduce

We have worked to minimize the amount of shipping material needed to send product through the mail. The product box is used as a shipping box. This box is designed to fit snugly over the glasses case, without extra packing material inside or an extra box on the outside. The glasses have been delivered without harm in our shipping tests.

Reuse

Our EyeSend frame manufacturer is reusing extra plastic used in the injection molding process to build more EyeSend frames. This process saves about 25% of the plastic needed for the frames.

Recycle

Our EyeSend shipping box is printed on 100% recycled corrugated cardboard made from 95% post-consumer content. The box is fully recyclable and biodegradable, including the inks used.

Local Production

EyeSend glasses are designed and manufactured in Logan, UT. Keeping the product as local as possible helps reduce carbon footprint of our products and feeds local U.S. businesses.

Continuous Improvement

Our goal is to continue to improve the environmental impact of our products as we grow as a company. Our ultimate goals are carbon-neutral production using sustainable materials.
